Jonathan Sutton
Jonathan Sutton has been involved in video production for many years, and got started as a teenager working for his father's company Suttonplace Productions. He attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received a degree in Music Technology and a minor in Documentary Film. Jonathan began making his own independent films during college; two of which (Ironing Board Confessions, and Hopheads) were official selections in The Sidewalk International Film Festival. Jonathan interned at Alabama Public Television where he worked on the Emmy Award winning series We Have Signal. After college he worked for Apple as a certified Final Cut Pro trainer. During his time at Apple, Jonathan continued to work freelance for clients that included Red Mountain Theater Company, Southern Crew, Kennametal, and The Alabama Eyesight Foundation. At the beginning of 2012, he was hired by Alabama Public Television to work on the public affairs show Capitol Journal, as well as Spotlight on Education and Stars in Education. Currently Jonathan works on personal narrative and documentary projects under the name Unicellular Productions and is a full time editor and cinematographer at Cinemacake Filmmakers and Media Wave Video Productions in Philadelphia, PA.
